In today’s post, the lovely Em from Planning With Em is sharing her law of attraction success stories. This is another installment of my law of attraction series which has so far been very popular, and I’m excited to share this guest post with you all!
Law of Attraction Success Stories:
How To Successfully Manifest Anything You Want
I’ve been interested in the Law of Attraction for a while now but only started getting serious about it within the last year or so. I’d watched many YouTube videos and read countless books about it, but I can’t deny that I wasn’t skeptical at first.
I’d wanted to try it for a while, but I guess I was worried that it wouldn’t work, and I would fail. However, after reading so many law of attraction success stories, I decided it was time to try this magical phenomenon everyone was raving about!
There are many different manifestation techniques that you can try out for yourself.
I decided to start with just a couple as I didn’t want to be overwhelmed and give up automatically!
One of the first things I did was make a vision board. The vision board had everything that I wanted to achieve or manifest into my life in 2020. I put things from all aspects of my life including university, money and blogging stuff!
I printed out the amount of money I wanted to manifest, the number of page views I wanted to get in my 1st full month of blogging, and my dream university I wanted to get into for my master’s degree. When I finished the vision board, I put the it on the wall above my desk which meant I would see it every day whilst studying and be reminded of what I wanted to manifest into my life.
Every time I looked at the vision board, I tried to envision what it would feel like to receive everything on it and I think this definitely helped the manifestation process.
One of my favourite ways to manifest things is using meditation. I meditate every day and I use this time to thank the universe for everything I currently have and ask for the things I would like to bring into my life.
Sometimes I even go as far as saying I already have achieved something and thank the universe for it. Being grateful is so important in life, especially if you’re trying to use the law of attraction.
Affirmations are also important for manifesting. The quote by Napoleon Hill; “what you think, you become” really stood out to me during my law of attraction research.
For a while, I wondered if it was actually possible that affirming and believing you have something, can help bring it into reality. I have learned that it most definitely can. So, without further ado, I’m super excited to be sharing my law of attraction success stories with you.
Making My First Affiliate Sale
One of the books I read involving the law of attraction was ‘Just F*cking Do It’ by Noor Hibbert.
One of the first activities she gets you to do is to ask the universe for a sign. You have to say out loud to the universe that you believe in its power and that you’d like to see a sign from it.
I thought this was crazy at first (like anyone new to the law of attraction would) but I found myself the next morning doing it.
So, I got out of bed and said out loud the exact phrase I was told to do by the book, and I was actually AMAZED by the result.
During that day, I received an email saying I had made my first EVER affiliate sale. As a student, my financial situation is….questionable.
The £16 I made from the affiliate sale may not be much to some people but to me it was a gift from the universe (literally!). This is my first law of attraction success story and it’s the one that really caught my attention.
Knowing that the universe really did have my back assured me that I could manifest more into my life than I ever thought possible!
Getting Into My Dream University
Back in March I applied for my dream business school to do my masters. At first, I was doubtful I would get in because it’s a very competitive university with less than 1000 students getting in.
Nevertheless, I put the logo for the school on my mood board and started acting as if I had got in. For example, I was going to live with my boyfriend’s family so we would talk about how excited we were to be moving in together.
I also wrote down in my journal how excited I was to go there and how I was grateful to have the opportunity. Just 2 weeks later, I received an email saying I had been offered a place to study there! It was such an amazing feeling, I actually cried tears of happiness!
The fact that I had changed my mindset from a negative to a positive one was probably the most influential thing I did during the manifestation process. Thinking positively truly does change everything!
When I made my vision board, I decided I would put the amount of money I wanted to manifest. I started small (ish) and went for £100. Truthfully, I don’t remember the last time I had £100 that didn’t have to be spent on rent, food, bills etc so I thought it would be nice to see if I could get that amount and just spend it on whatever I fancied!
To do this, I used the same principle as I did with my dream school and looked at the number every day. I meditated on it and asked the universe for some financial help.
It had been a few months since I made my vision board and if I’m honest I was starting to give up hope. But then something amazing happened. I received a birthday card from my grandparents who normally send me a £15 New Look voucher (I’m not complaining I am super grateful to them for the card and vouchers). When I opened the card this year, a cheque for £100 was in it! 100 freaking pounds!
I was very shocked and very grateful to my grandparents for the gift obviously, but I couldn’t help thinking that the universe had something to do with it.
The law of attraction is always working whether you believe it or not.
How To Manifest Money Effortlessly Into Your Life
I was skeptical about including this as one of my law of attraction success stories, but I really do believe that the universe had something to do with our relationship. This is a long story so sit tight, but I promise it’s a good one.
In my first year of university, I was with my best friend in my room and we were on Facebook. I happen to be looking at my recommended friends’ section on the home feed and this guy called ‘Ege’ was on it.
I said to my friend that I should be his girlfriend because I thought his name was pronounced egg and I used to joke that I looked like an egg! (weird self-depreciation, I know). We had a laugh about it but forgot all about it after that night.
Skip to second year of university and my best friend happens to not be in class one day, so I sat on my own. This guy came up to me and asked to sit with me, he was in his third year, so he didn’t know anyone in the class. I said yes and we got chatting, asked each other’s names etc and you can probably guess what his name was…it was Ege.
I didn’t make the connection until we added each other on Facebook, and I recognised the profile picture!
Another thing that was definitely the universe at work was our first kiss. I had been round my friend’s house for the evening and they were all going out clubbing that night. I wasn’t planning on going and because I really wasn’t a spontaneous person.
An hour before they were meant to leave, I decided to join them and go out! I had no idea Ege was going to be out that night but when I got to the club, I saw him. We ended up having our first kiss that night and the rest is history.
If I hadn’t followed my intuition and listened to the universe that day, we might not have had our first kiss. I truly believe we are soul mates and meant to be together (a little cheesy but true!)
That wraps up my 4 law of attraction success stories! I hope you enjoyed reading them and got some inspiration from them. Why not try out the law of attraction for yourself and see what the universe can do for you?
