Shopping in Europe is an experience like no other, with its charming cities and settings as well as the range of shops that you can find here. You can shop for high-end luxury, vintage, high-street, local souvenirs, and more. And each of these cities has famous streets and areas that are known for shopping and what they offer those who want to visit and spend some time shopping.

Here are some of the best shopping destinations in Europe:

1) Paris – Avenue des Champs-Élysées

Avenue des Champs-Élysées is one of the most famous streets in the world. Located in Paris, this avenue has a curated list of the best shopping spots, something that the board of commerce takes very seriously to ensure it meets specific standards. You can find incredible boutiques here, high-end shops, and restaurants and cafes scattered throughout so you can shop and take a coffee or meal pause as you’d like.

Shopping and being on this avenue is an experience in it itself, and one you’ll remember for life.

2) Milan – Quadrilatero della Moda

In Milan, one of the most popular places to shop is the Quadrilatero Della Moda. It is an intersection of many streets that connect to make this fashion district you can spend days exploring. You will find luxury clothing brands here as well as luxury watch stores, like the Patek Philippe shop for example.

3) London – Oxford Street

Oxford Street in London is the place to go. It is home to famous shops like Selfridges for clothing, Liberty London for luxury homeware, and so many more. It is largely filled with luxury shops, as well as high-street shops like River Island and Primark, as well as department stores like House of Fraser.

4) Vienna – Kärntner Straße

For shopping in Vienna, be sure to check out Kärntner Straße. It is a long stretch that hosts an entire shopping experience, from luxury goods to budget finds, and bars and restaurants throughout.

5) Barcelona – Passeig de Gracia

For a beautiful street in Barcelona that also has incredible shopping, head to Passeig de Gracia. It is a tree-lined street with many luxury shops like Cartier and Lacoste, as well as a setting that makes you want to stop and relax a bit to sit at a restaurant and enjoy the views and bustling energy around you.

6) Amsterdam – De Negen Straatjes

Not just one street, but 9. De Negen Straatjes in Amsterdam is actually more so considered a little neighborhood where you go shopping at quaint boutiques. It is easy to navigate through the area and it is all well-connected. The streets that make up De Negen Straatjes are: Berenstraat, Gasthuismolensteeg, Hartenstraat, Huidenstraat, Oude Spiegelstraat, Reestraat,  Runstraat, Wijde Heisteeg and Wolvenstraat.

7) Brussels – Rue Neuve

Rue Neuve is something you will run into no matter what in Brussels, even if your intention is not to shop! It runs through the center of the city and is home to high-street stores, luxury stores, and everyday shops to pop into along with restaurants, cafes, and bars.
