I go through phases with TED talks. I’m either watching 10 in a row or forgetting all about them for months on end. Since I’ve been on a major TED Talk kick lately, I decided to share a few inspirational ones I’ve found by women speakers.
In case you’re not familiar with TED Talks, they’re online non-profit videos from people who have something to share with the world. If you’re looking for inspiration, the below talks are for you.

1. How to stop screwing yourself over- Mel Robbins
Mel Robbins talks about how people tend to have big dreams and aspirations, but never really do anything about them. Her approach in life is basically JUST DO IT. Stop waiting for your dreams to happen on their own because they won’t.
2. Why you need to be a bitch- Tabatha Coffey
In this hilarious talk, Tabatha Coffey explains the importance of being your unapologetic authentic self. She also talks about why women are catty to each other, and what we should be doing instead. Great talk, and bound to keep you entertained as well as get you inspired.
3. Get comfortable with being uncomfortable- Luvvie Ajayi
Luvvie Ajayi talks about saying yes to things that scare us, things that we are afraid to pursue, and the strength we receive from doing these things. “Get comfortable with being uncomfortable” is about to become your daily mantra.
4. What happens when women stop believing the lies- Mina Shah
In this powerful speech, Mina Shah talks about how to confidently say “no” to what women do not want to do and shares the 3 types of lies that hold women back and what happens when they embrace the truth. Watch her amazing speech here.
5. The Magic of Not Giving a F*** – Sarah Knight
Best-selling author Sarah Knight demonstrates her “Not sorry method” to help get people out of things they don’t want to do but are pressured to. Her hilarious talk tackles how people can spend more of their time, energy and money doing things they actually enjoy.
6. Looks aren’t everything. Believe me, I’m a model. – Cameron Russell
Cameron Russell explains that even though she has won the genetic lottery when it comes to today’s beauty standards, her insecurities come from the fact that she looks the way she does.
7. How to gain control of your free time – Laura Vanderkam
Time management expert Laura Vanderkam studies how busy people spend their lives, and she’s discovered that many of us drastically overestimate our commitments each week, while underestimating the time we have to ourselves.
8. Why we have too few women leaders- Sheryl Sandberg
Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg talks about why among many professionals at the top of their profession, only a handful of women make the top. In her speech, she shares 3 pieces of advice to help women reach the top.
