Here are my top tips on how you can make money online using your blog
This is one of the most effective ways of making money blogging.
Affiliate marketing is super simple. You team up with a company and advertise their content on your blog. You get your own custom link to their website, and if somebody clicks on your link and buys whatever product or service you spoke about in your blog, you will get a commission for selling that product at no extra cost for the buyer.
It is super easy to sign up for affiliate marketing, and there are many websites which offer their affiliate services to bloggers.
Here are some of the most successful affiliate marketing websites among bloggers:
Affiliate marketing is great because you can find products for literally anything you blog about.
If you are a mommy blogger, head over to Amazon and link all your favorite baby buys in your blog posts.
If you blog about blogging, Bluehost is a great affiliate program. Here is my referral link if you would like to set up a blog through Bluehost.
If you blog about lifestyle, you can link your favorite products in your posts and make sales like no tomorrow.
There is something there for everybody in the affiliate marketing world.
Placing Ads on Your Blog
You can have ads on your website in order to make some extra money. The way the ads work is similar to the affiliate programs, where if somebody buys something that is advertised on your website, over time, you can make good money from it.
Some websites that allow ads to be placed on your blog are:
Monumetric and Mediavine require bloggers to have a minimum of 10,000 monthly sessions (Monumetric), and 25,000 monthly sessions (Mediavine) before you can sign up with them.
If you are struggling with your views, Pinterest Perfect is for you. Pinterest is an amazing search engine where you can pin your blog posts and gain so much exposure! My most popular pin has been viewed over 20K times! Helloooo, blog traffic! All the strategies I used to make that happen are in my ebook, Pinterest Perfect. Grab your copy here!
Also to boost your views, you can also use an SEO boosting website like this one and pay for the service to make your content reach more people, for example, by making your blog get a better Google ranking.
Doing sponsored posts can get you serious cash through your blog. The way sponsored posts work is pretty simple. A brand gets in touch with you with a product/service they want you to promote on your blog, and you negotiate a price for writing the blog post.
It is important to note that sponsored posts do not have to only be about the product you are promoting. For example, if you are writing a sponsored post on a new planner that is coming out, you can include the planner in a post such as “My Tools To A Productive Day”, or something of that sort.
Also, make sure that you mainly only review products you have used, otherwise you could lose your readers’ trust, and you don’t want that.
Selling Digital Products
This is another way of making passive income through your blog. If you have an idea for a digital product, like an ebook, a printable guide, or anything of that sort, you can totally sell it using your blog!
I use Canva to create all my Pins and graphics (even my logo was designed on Canva). It is super easy to use, and you can look up tutorials on how to use it on YouTube. The best thing about Canva is that it’s FREE! You can upgrade to the paid version, but I’ve never seen the need to do that.
Once you create your digital product(s), you will need to advertise them. You can do that on your blog (either in your posts or as a pop-up), on Instagram, or on Pinterest.
The best thing about making your own products is that YOU are in charge of how much you want to charge for them!
If you are knowledgeable in a certain field and want to teach others how to do what you do, you can do one-on-one online coaching.
You can either set up e-mail coaching sessions, or phone/Skype sessions.
A lot of coaches sell their sessions as a bundle, and you can make REAL good money from this. Again, you will be able to sell your services for as much money as you see fit for your time spent on them.
Online coaching will also need to be advertised, just as if you would advertise your digital products.
