Vision boards are a great way to focus on your goals and manifestations. After all, everything you desire is laid out in front of you. Today’s post is going to be on how to create a digital vision board that you can have on you at all times, for free!
Whether you’re a firm believer of manifestation or you have goals you want to work on, a vision board is amazing for keeping yourself motivated and going after these goals.
What is a vision board?
A vision board is visual tool for your dreams and goals, and it helps you achieve these dreams and goals using the Law of Attraction.
It works by helping you to subconsciously attract everything that is on your vision board, mostly because you are always looking at it and programming the images and phrases in your subconscious.
You can either make a physical or a digital vision board, but I’m partial to the digital version.
Why make a digital vision board?
Digital vision boards are perfect for most people because it has a huge advantage over the physical vision board. That advantage is, you can always have it on you.
If you’re someone like me who works on their laptop multiple hours a day, you can make your vision board your wallpaper. Similarly, if you use your phone a lot, you can set it as your wallpaper on your phone.
The key to manifesting using a vision board is to have it somewhere you can see it every day.
How to make a digital vision board:
First, you will have to gather images which inspire you. My favorite place to find inspirational images and images of the things I want to manifest is Pinterest.
You want to look for pictures, as well as quotes. I have a couple of posts with ready-made quote graphics you can save and use below:
9 GIRL BOSS QUOTES TO MOTIVATE YOU
11 POSITIVE MOTIVATIONAL QUOTES
16 MOTIVATIONAL QUOTES GET YOU INSPIRED TODAY
Now that you have your quotes, search for any images that you want to become your reality. Think of things like:
- your dream car
- a house you’d love to live in
- dream vacation spots
- your dream job
- your ideal body
- material things like bags, shoes and gadgets
- an amount of money you’d love to have
- your dream partner
Once you’ve gathered all your images, it is time to now transfer them onto Canva. Canva is a free tool you can use to create just about anything graphic-related.
Once you’ve made your free Canva account, you will see in the upper right corner a button to create a design. Click on it and search for “Desktop Wallpaper”, or “Phone Wallpaper” if you’d rather have your vision board be on your phone.
I will be demonstrating a desktop vision board.

Once you have your design open, you will click on Elements on the left, and search for grids.

Choose one that appeals to you, and you can start transferring your images to the grid. You can move the images around and position them as you please.
Below is just a simple vision board I made quickly to show you. You don’t have to use grids, but I find they make everything look a little neater. But if you don’t want to be limited to the numbers of grids Canva have available, you can arrange your photos however you like on a blank design.
Once it’s done to your liking, simply download it as a JPG file and set it as your background. Super simple!

Final thoughts
For your vision board to be effective, you should look at it at least once a day. It will remind you what you are working towards and will speed up your manifestations.
It’s also perfect to look at when you’re having a bad day or are feeling uninspired because the images on it are images that will uplift you and remind you of your goals.
You can, by all means, create a physical vision board and have it in your room, but a digital one works great too and you can always have it on the go.
