In today’s post, I am going to be sharing my favorite underwear and fashion hacks that I think every woman should know about.
When it comes to fashion and style, there is a little more to it than just the outer outfit.
It wasn’t until I started to really pay attention to the details of my outfits that I realized that there were things I could improve on.
Underwear and fashion tools are now major factors in my wardrobe and in how I build my outfits.
You can really manipulate your clothes to look better with just a few tips and tricks, and I am going to share with you my favorite ones!

Fashion Hacks Every Woman Should Know
Fashion tape is one of my favorite fashion hacks! You can use it for so many things, but my favorite ways to use it are:
- Taping up the gaps in the chest area in button-up shirts. This prevents my top from gaping and showing my bra.
- Taping my top to my bra straps to avoid it from slipping and sliding.
- Taping low-cut tops to my skin to avoid wardrobe malfunctions.
- Using it as a quick way to “hem” my jeans at the ankles by putting tape around the inside bottom of the jeans and then folding it under.
I seriously can’t recommend fashion tape enough, and always keep one in my closet and take another one on the go with me for emergencies! It’s a very affordable and quick way to make sure that I’m always looking put-together.
I think most of us can agree that panty lines are pretty tacky.
To avoid the dreaded panty lines through your bottoms, simply switch to seamless panties. Or if you prefer thongs, go for those, but I think many of us prefer the comfort of a brief.
Seamless underwear is the way to go if you don’t prefer thongs, and they really do live up to the hype.
I now confidently wear tight bottoms without having to worry about any panty lines. Seriously ladies, invest in some seamless underwear! There are so many different brands that carry them now.
Basic Colored Undergarments
Basic colored undergarments are always going to come in handy. I believe that every woman needs nude as well as black undergarments, depending on what color her outfit is.
The shade of nude, of course, will depend on your skin tone. So make sure to match it as closely as you can!
I own multiple nude bras, panties, and camis, and the same goes for black.
These colors are going to work with whatever outfit you are wearing, so it’s good to invest in a couple of pieces that you can rotate around.
Tape Your Girls Up
Do you remember that picture of Kim Kardashian that went viral a few years ago where she showed how she tapes herself up to get a lift?
Well, she used to use regular tape which I can only imagine hurt like hell when it came time for removal.
It is also why I never tried that method.
Thankfully since then, a new product has been created which is meant to go on the skin. Push Up Tape is the same exact concept, except it is safe to use and offers great results.
What I also love about this tape is that it comes in many different “skin” shades, which makes it perfect for all skin tones!
Push Up Tape, in my opinion, is something every woman needs in her closet just in case she ever needs to go braless while still looking great.

Bra Strap Cushions
Do you ever go about your day and suddenly feel your bra digging into your skin?
That used to happen to me ALL the time. For some reason, bra straps never tend to lay flat on my skin. They rather fold over and dig into my shoulders, leaving me with bra strap marks.
That all changed when I found out about bra strap cushions! These things are a game-changer, and so worth having!
They’re basically a silicone pad you attach to your straps which keeps them laying flat and prevents the annoying digging that can happen for many of us.
Whoever designed bra strap cushions is a genius.
Clear Nail Polish For Stockings
This might be a hack many of you know, but it definitely works!
Using clear nail polish on runs on stockings (or pantyhose) really helps with stopping the runs from continuing on!
The only thing is, most of the time (for me at least) my runs don’t start until I’m out of the house. I’ve taken a small clear bottle of nail polish along with me in my purse a couple of times. That definitely came in handy once when I started getting a run on my stockings!
Even though it’s extra, keeping that on you at all times can come in handy more than you would think. I definitely recommend it!
Non-Skid Shoe Pads
Does anyone else sometimes get the perfect pair of shoes, only to find out that they slip and slide?
This hack is honestly more for safety than for fashion purposes but non-skid shoe pads are something I readily keep on hand now.
They come with a sticky side which you stick to the bottom of the shoe sole and really help with the slipperiness of the shoe!
They are also very affordable and can be found in many different places online and in-store. I absolutely love non-skid shoe pads.
Avoid The Bulge
Sometimes when we tuck shirts or sweaters into our pants, it can look like there is a bit of a bulge.
There’s a simple hack for that, and I use it all the time!
Instead of tucking tops into my pants, I tuck them into either my pantyhose if I’m wearing those, OR into my underwear!
Because those undergarments are fitted and made to lay smooth across the skin, they will smooth out any top you tuck in there.
So simple, but definitely a handy trick to know about!
