10 Easy Ways To Look Better Every Day
Have you ever heard the saying that goes “When you look good, you feel good.”? It’s so true!
The way you dress and carry yourself is so much more than just looking polished. It has everything to do with how you feel, and how you are going to get treated throughout your day.
You feel more confident and you’re in a better mood, and who doesn’t want that?
Some might think it’s superficial, but really, people are visual beings. And taking care of yourself is not superficial at all, rather it shows that you are a confident woman with a good attitude towards life.
There are many things you can do in order to look better every day. Some take no time at all, and some may take a little longer.
I personally think a balance of both is good. You don’t want to spend hours on your looks every day unless you have the time to do it, but spending a few minutes here and there is going to make all the difference.
Below are 10 things you can do that will help you look attractive and feel amazing in your own skin.

10 Ways To Look Good Your Best
Do your hair
You don’t have to get a fresh blow-dry every day, but having a nice hairstyle does wonders for your overall look. Whether you’re a curly girl or your hair is straight, find a hairstyle you can do yourself that doesn’t take hours to do.
Styling products can help if you’re not very good at doing your own hair. This wave spray is a great option for any of my curly or wavy-haired girls out there, and this product here is a must for any blowout style.
Have polished hands
Having beautiful hands is such a nice touch to any woman. There are so many little things you can do to maintain the look of your hands, and here are a few:
- Wear gloves when doing housework! Water and cleaning products can take a toll on your hands, and you can also easily break nails when doing things around the house.
- Keep your hands moisturized. Find a good moisturizer and reapply a few times during the day, especially after washing your hands.
- Get a manicure. If you don’t want to spend money on getting manicures, learn how to do it yourself. You can find manicure kits like this one everywhere these days, and your hands will look so much more polished with a manicure, whether you put nail polish on them or not.
- Keep your cuticles moisturized and pushed back. Dry, flaky cuticles don’t do your hands any justice. Applying cuticle oil at night helps a lot.
Moisturize your body
Having moisturized skin is an easy but effective way to look glowy and fresh. Moisturizing your body directly after taking a shower is the best time to moisturize, as it will ensure that the product sinks into your skin well. The Brazilian Bum Bum Cream is my absolute favorite!
Accentuate your features
Every woman has stunning features that she should be proud of and accentuate. If you’re not a fan of heavy makeup, focus on one area to work with.
If you love your eyes, try smoking them out with a neutral eyeshadow. If you have beautiful lips, put on a color that makes you feel confident. Love your brows? Brush and fill them in to frame your face beautifully. Is your skin your favorite feature? Moisturize and highlight it to show it off.
You don’t have to do it all to look pretty. Playing up your natural features is the way to go when wanting that innocent and pretty look that will make you look like you know what looks good on you.
Dress to impress
It takes people seconds to notice your outfit. It also takes you seconds after putting on a killer outfit to feel like a million bucks.
Your style definitely sends out a message. Make it be a message of confidence and elegance. You can play with your style and find new ways to express yourself with clothing. Make it fun and exciting, and soon enough you will love getting dressed in the morning.
Stay hydrated
Getting enough water is going to help your skin stay plump and beautiful, while also keeping your hair and nails healthy! Making sure to drink enough water each day is a simple way to glow from the inside out. And no, the iced latte you had this morning doesn’t count!
Get enough sleep
Are you getting enough beauty sleep? Depending on your age, you should be getting anywhere between 6 to 9 hours a night. I personally think the more sleep, the better.
If you’re not yet sleeping well throughout the night, consider fixing your sleep schedule as soon as possible. There’s nothing better than getting enough sleep at night and waking up fresh, glowing and fully rested.
Whiten your smile
White teeth can instantly make anybody look more attractive. Nowadays there are so many teeth whitening kits you can buy and use at home, and they work as well as if you’d just paid the dentist a visit.
When you have nice teeth you also tend to smile more and that’s also a super attractive quality in women.
Have good posture
Standing hunched over is not only bad for your health but it also looks bad. A good posture instantly elevates your look and helps you appear more confident and even taller.
Limit processed foods
Processed food is the worst thing you can consume if you’re trying to glow up. Instead of junk, opt for fresh fruit, vegetables and grains, lean meats and nuts.
We really are what we eat and a bad diet can show on your face, in your hair and nails, and in your overall look. Limiting the bad foods and introducing more fresh ingredients to your diet can make the world of a difference.
